Bill Waterman Bill comes to the Capital City Brass Band as an established educator, clinician, and arranger. His experience includes working with musical groups throughout Colorado, Florida, Kansas, Missouri, Michigan and Texas. Bill holds a master’s of music degree from Texas Tech University and a bachelor’s degree of music from the University of Kansas. Currently, he is working towards the completion of his doctoral of musical arts degree at Michigan State University. Bill is an accomplished performer and held a nine-year tenure with the Topeka Symphony as principal tuba. He has shared the stage with recording artists Colin Ray and the rock-band Kansas. An active soloist, Bill made his debut at Carnegie Hall in the April of 2011. Bill is excited to work with the Capital City Brass Band and collaborate on new musical projects.
