Capital City Brass Band Capital City Brass Band

The Capital City Brass Band (CCBB) is an all-volunteer brass and percussion ensemble inspired by the traditional British-style brass band model. The band was organized in January 2001. Members of the CCBB come from across Mid-Michigan and represent a cross section of the community at large.

Concert - "Following the Torch" - Saturday May 19th 7:00pm


Please join us on Saturday, May 19, when the Capital City Brass Band makes an early salute to the 2012 Olympic Games with a concert at Chippewa 7-8 School in East Lansing, Michigan (see directions). The CCBB, under the direction of William Waterman, will feature soloists Dan Stull (euphonium), Ed Tappan (flugelhorn), and Bob Woodard (trombone). The band will take the audience on a musical tour of the cities that have hosted the Olympic Games throughout history. Ticket are $15.00 for adults, $10.00 for seniors and will be on sale at the door. Students are admitted free with student ID.
